Tracey Morris (from Disney, Indiana) continues her visit to the Monster Kid Radio Station with more talk about the movie The Valley of Gwangi (dir. Jim O'Connolly). Ray Harryhausen's influence has been felt across nearly all of moviedom, and has definitely been felt in Tracey's wheelhouse, so she and Derek talk a bit about how Harryhausen's films may have influenced some of her favorite films. They also talk briefly about the recent documentary Ray Harryhausen: Special Effects Titan (dir. Gilles Penso). Later in the show, Tom Biegler calls in his thoughts on a Vincent Price film from 1970.

Artist and monster kid Tom Biegler invited Derek to his home theater to watch a movie Derek had never seen before - 1963's Matango (dir. Ishirō Honda). Despite having a lifelong love of classic horror movies, Derek's experience with Japanese monsters has been limited up until recently.
