You may know him as horror host Dr. Gangrene. You may know him as writer Larry Underwood. By the time you're done listening to this episode of Monster Kid Radio, you'll know him as someone who loves the 1922 silent film classic Nosferatu (dir. F. W. Murnau). Nosferatu is the earliest adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, and Larry and Derek talk about its genesis, its roots, and the movie itself. (And remember, if you're in the area, you can join Derek at the Joy Cinema for a screening of Jesse James Meets Frankenstein's Daughter (dir. William Beaudine). He'll be introducing the movie!) Also featured in this episode: the next installment of this year's countdown-to-Halloween series, Lugosiween. Be sure to visit our complete website at http://www.monsterkidradio.net.
